Hi! I need some help. I need to write a report on surgeries for my anesthesia class and I dont/havent worked in a clinic so I am stuck on the concentrations commonly used in vet clinics. Can anyone help with some common concentrations so I could do the dosage calculations? I need them for:

atropine

acepromazine

butorphanol

propofol


Any help is so greatly appreciated! Thanks!

So PZI is unavailable, and per the FDA Vetsulin is having quality control issues. What are people using for their cats and dogs?

i am feeling far too many emotions then i can handle right now. lets see,
-frustration, anger, and worry (mostly for trying to not put my mom in the hole $172, and my phones screen is VERY VERY close to coming off),
-excitement, happiness and giddy (for talking to my homeboy elliott who i havent talked to in FOREVER!),
-confusion, irritation, and general perplexity (over wierd mother fuckin vibes and energy that are never in the same path or plane, wtf). and disappointment, hopefulness, and general concern (over some other friend and their relationship stuff).
i donno, im also real hungry right now so that doesnt help much.
shrug, whatever, life. ha funny how i was thinkin so much on respect and disrespect on the way home... i donno how i feel about those things any more, fuck.

This year I wore two costumes: zombie veterinarian to school on Friday, pirate to a party on Saturday. The zombie makeup takes at least 1.5 hours to apply and 1 hour to remove sober (that liquid latex is a bitch) so I didn't want to do it two days in a row.

I didn't know if there is any alum or future MSU vet tech students out there...

Tomorrow MSU trustees will be meeting to finalize cuts of 44 programs throughout the University, including the Vet tech program. :'( Sad days...

Being in my first semester this is so very disappointing, though our class will be honored and we will obtain our education and degrees. MSU is an agricultural college and many other ag. science programs are on the chopping block including 4H which is the whole base of educating young kids.

I'm just so stunned by this that i dont know what else to say..
